In recent years, Punjab’s mega city ‘Lahore’ has suffered devastating tragedies. Over 300 people have lost their lives due to fake deadly medicines, hundreds of other suffered dengue virus & law and order got worst. Punjab government has failed in every way. A few days back a concert was organized at Alhumra, Lahore, where a large number of youngsters were present, but sadly due to mismanagement three female students died at the concert. Administration declared it a failure of management. After this tragic incident, Punjab assembly imposed a ban on concerts in educational institutions. Secular forces opposed this act and recorded their protest against this. Later on, Punjab’s government withdrew from this decision.
Couple of days back Pakistani renowned anchor person and columnist, Mr. Hamid Mir criticized and placed a blame on common people of Punjab in front of PTI’s Leader Imran Khan who claims Lahore and Punjab his stronghold, but it is most ridiculous that nobody has shown their grudge and grievance, when Mr. Hamid Mir used the prominent channel platform which is being watched widely where he described the infamous places of Punjab in which Mujrah (seductive Dance) has been organized. According to Hamid Mir, In Heera mandi (an infamous sex market, legally run in Punjab) cabaret, stripe tease, erotic activities & prostitution are allowed. Even the posh areas of Lahore in which Defence, Model Town, Garden Town and Gulberg are included are not safe from the influence of this brothel street & ‘Mujras’ are organized in private parties on regular basis. Hamid Mir asked a question from the Punjab government that Why they do not impose ban on Mujrah and such taboo activities in Punjab rather than imposing bans on concerts in the educational institutions.
With that question a video came to my mind where the famous Leader of PML-N Zulfiqar Khosa is enjoying Mujrah at an official gathering of PMLN along with other PML-N leaders.
In another news a PML-N activist raped his own party worker.
To put it in Urdu “Iss hamam mai saray Nangay hain”. How they can ban such activities when they are pleased by these activities.
Now, I’m moving towards the real issue, When MQM’s Leader Mr. Waseem Akhtar asked Punjab’s government to stop Mujras in Punjab, while Waseem Akhtar was not as vocal as Hamid
Some politicians provoked the Pakistanis against MQM by wrongly describing Waseem’s statement, many political representatives has also criticized him badly and bashed MQM. When Hamid Mir said the same, No one came forward to criticize him. Even, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Leader Mr. Imran Khan was listening him in his show and kept silence on this statement. If MQM’s Waseem Akhtar was wrong, Why did Hamid Mir say the same and Imran kept silence? Why did Pakistani Nation not raise their voices against this statement?? Is this not Hypocrisy? Think about it. I think we all know that Waseem Akhter and Hamid Mir have spoken the truth.

Actually this is a “Punjabi” way of entertainment and they don’t want anybody to come in between, as most of the girl in “Diamond Market” are the “illegitimate off-springs” of Punjabi Politicians or Feudal Lords.
Turning a page in history, we find General Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan was throwing whisky on Madam Noor Jehan’s bare-naked body and on the other hand Mr. Tiger Ameer Abdullah Khan Niazi the Chief of Army Staff was enjoying a maid. This all was happening in the middle of the war in East Pakistan.
So,since this is their culture, I would say “Carry On Bro, Screw the Country, Carry On”.
